About

North Haven Manor is a historic private residential beachfront community in the Hamptons, located on the island of North Haven on the outskirts of Sag Harbor, just one mile from the Shelter Island ferry. Surrounded by old oaks and beech trees, and situated between Noyac and Sag Harbor bays, it offers water on three sides, two picnic esplanades for residential use, access to a wetlands preserve, and a private park and tennis court.  It is ideal for families.

Shingled homes are situated around winding country lanes ideal for cycling and jogging; all lead to the beaches, where kayaks and sailboats may be stored or larger boats moored.

North Haven Manor has long been a literary and arts center, and much of its acreage was once the farmstead home of Julian Hawthorne, son of Nathanial Hawthorne.

North Haven Manor is minutes from Sag Harbor’s Main Street, an authentic piece of a bygone America where elegant stores, first-rate restaurants, and art galleries share the sidewalks with an old barber shop, a Five & Dime, and a vintage independent movie theatre, as well as a renowned farmer’s market.
